While working for many years in remote bases for the oil industry, one thing struck him: no matter where, the work environments were far from optimal, drastically reducing productivity and employee morale. To solve this problem, he founded ELC in 1991: a company providing quality buildings, operationalble under any climatic conditions.

In the same line of thoughts, ELC started offering turnkey facilities because building a new facility in remote areas proved to be a challenge too big for many country managers, already too busy with daily operations and often lacking sufficient project management experience.

Finally, clients from other industries discovered the benefits of ELC, and that's why today ELC's product range includes other high-infrastructure facilities such as cleanrooms and medical facilities.
